Towards the end of the 15th century, for our European ancestors, the Americas were called the New World. Even today, there are borders so close beyond which there is always the unknown.
In the big park, I lifted a rock. Under this rock I made a discovery. I found there the gateway to the legendary world that everyone knows without really knowing. From then on, I saw the importance of mapping access to this world in order to share it with everyone.

The world of the psychospiritual inhabits us all... or should I rather say that we all live somewhere in this world of the psychospiritual. I myself come from schizophrenia, and have been reborn there since around 1997.
Schizophrenia is a mental illness that affects nearly 1% of the world's population (not counting the relatives around these people). The DSM-5 or a psychiatrist could give you a more official definition of this disease but, for my part, I define this puzzle more according to my own style, according to my experience and my point of view in it.
I was diagnosed at the beginning of the century but my symptoms go back further in the past, when I was almost 21 years old. I'm taking antipsychotics and I'll probably have to take them for the rest of my life.
I invite you to read this selection of texts among my writings in which I tell you my introspections and my observations, living in this extraordinary world. Some of these writings date back less than 10 years after my first symptoms and many of them are the fruit of my reflections in my psychotic universe.

Introduction
In the past, according to some of the most educated civilizations, the Earth was the immobile center of the universe around which other planets orbited (including the Sun). An Italian astronomer named Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) preached a theory that the Sun was a motionless center around which the Earth revolves. He was found guilty of professing heresies, which at the time was considered a serious offense.
When asked what my religion is, I say that I was born and raised in a Christian home. I can add that I am married to a Muslim woman and I do not particularly identify with any religion, however I have a very strong spirituality.
Since I say that I communicate with spirits, the religious say that I am a sinner and, for its part, science associates my beliefs with my illness. Am I a sinful pagan or a madman? Am I actually in possession of a precious piece of puzzle? Only God knows...
This collection of some of my texts is my testimony of my own beliefs and psychospiritual experiences. Does it reflect realities that concern many people of this world? 1% of the world's population has this diagnosis. Among these people, are there any who recognize themselves in what I have experienced?
In the following pages, I offer you my point of view and my testimony of an authentic revelation, the roots of my mentality as a person living with schizophrenia, the following few theories that could not only change your perception of life but also serve as translation tools to decode the coherence of my type of mentality. These theories highlight what I call the "point of contact" between the two worlds and offer a starting point for those who wish to explore the vast territories of the "New World" from the point of view of a "basketcase".
The psychospiritual: a virtual "territory"
The psychospiritual is a virtual "territory". On the one hand, there are known lands that are mapped by scientific researchers who explore, identify and classify realities, and psychologists use researchers' findings to help human causes. On the other hand, there are the unexplored lands. The inhabitants of these lands are the "crazy" people. They live in their own world and when there is one who speaks to us, no one understands. We rely on experts for translation, but too often these experts are out of resources or allow themselves to speak through their hats.
Someone who experiences things that no one has experienced, is introduced into a territory that has never before been explored. It is required that this territory be "mapped" so that they can express in an understandable way what they see or perceive in this new world, and then find their way back if they are lost.
In a time when the Earth was believed to be flat, people misrepresented the horizons. They attributed descriptions that seem to us today to be completely absurd, of what they thought they knew. For example, it was assumed that there was a chasm at the edge of the Earth where giant monsters prowled ready to engulf overly daring navigators. Today's science is not immune to this kind of nonsense. The available vocabulary represents in an unfaithful and inadequate way certain psychospiritual realities that are at the extremities or borders and then beyond the known psychospiritual territory.
Some individuals who experience what psychiatrists call "schizophrenia" are in this situation because they explore beyond these boundaries and come back with a lacking vocabulary to describe what they have seen. Why do they talk crazy? We do not understand their jargon because they use a vocabulary designed to describe realities on the one side of the borders, to describe what happens on the other side of the borders.
Schizophrenia is a little-known territory but still as clearable, expandable and healthily habitable as any territory, and a person is not "mentally ill" simply because he lives elsewhere.
